How To Make A Shamballa Bracelet

Required supplies:

1mm thread of your favorite color (waxed cotton, nylon or leather)Beautiful shamballa beads of your choice having minimum 1mm size hole in.Hypo cement glueNail paint having clear colorBead matPin

Now follow the instructions step by step

Step 1:

Make the thread easy for beads: cut 40cm length of thread then through nail paint, add a dab to both ends of cord and let them dry. Now thread a bead and in one end of cord tie a knot. Now keep sliding the bead until it comes 10cm away from knot and then tie another knot. Now pin the cord on the bead mat.

Step 2:

Now take a meter length of cord and knot it into the first knot.

Step 3:

Now you have to tie your square knots. Don't be puzzled it is quite easy. Take the thread on the left then make there a loop so that it easily sits over the centre cord.

Step 4:

Pass the cord now on the right side underneath both the other cords and up through the middle.

Step 5:

Now pull this knot but not too much tightly because the central cord needs to move through the knots so if you pull tightly then may be your central cord snap while wearing. Take care of it the most if you are using leather cord.

Step 6:

Now do the same things with the right cord so that it resembles back to front number 4 and pass the left handed cord beneath the other cords and up through the number 4 centre now pull it tight.

You have done first square knot!!

Step 7:

Now make another knot by repeating step 3-6. Now to the central cord thread another bead.

Step 8:

Now tie two other square knots to bring the outer cords around the beads.

Step 9:

Now until you get 5-7 beads which are separated from square knots keep adding beads with two square knots between each.

Step 10:

Now your outer cords are almost finished. In the two cords tie a reef knot, pull it tight and now add hypo cement glue to the knot. Let it dry and then snip off the outer cords. Now thread on the other bead.

Step 11:

Now after the last bead tie another knot in the end of central cord and now take it off from the bead mat. Now cross over another the both ends of the bracelet. In the end of the cord against the knots add two final beads.

Step 12:

Now knot 60cm cord around the both ends of the bracelet.

Step13:

Now over the main bracelet cords, tie series of square knots. (Do not tie tightly you will then have problem when you open or close the bracelet.

Step 14:

Now if you have tied almost 5-6 square knots then you are almost done. Now on the two outer cords tie a reef knot and dab thy hypo cement and snip the extra cord.

You are done!!!
